Feb 2008 The piece In the Eye of the Believer (2006) will be a part of the FILE Rio 2008 edition at Oi Futuro (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil); the festival will also present the piece God is Good to Daddy (2003) as part of Agricola de Cologne's Memoryscapes installation

May 2008 Eldad will present pieces at the 2008 Deep Wireless Festival, including a newly commissioned religious piece and the piece Tzu Chi MTL (2007)

A series of Canadian 60x60 concerts curated by Eldad will debut at the September 2008 EuCuE concert series, Oscar Peterson Concert Hall, Montreal

A short biography

Eldad Tsabary is a Montréal based composer and sound artist whose music is inspired by the concepts of sound-mass, metamorphosis, and constant motion and is often based on intercultural subject matter. His works have been played at Carnegie Hall, CCRMA, and ISCM among others (see list) and performed by The Bulgarian Philharmonic, the Cygnus Ensemble, Haim Avisur, Silvie Jensen, and others. His works won prizes at several competitions including a Deep Wireless Residency 2008, Bourges international electroacoustic music competition 2007, Madrid Abierto’s Public Art Project Competition 2007, ZKM’s competition Shortcuts:Beauty 2006, and Harbourfront Centre's New Canadian Sound Work 2006, . Eldad is a lecturer of electronic art-music and music technology at Concordia University and at Musitechnic in Montréal. His music is released on ERMMedia, Capstone Records, New Adventures in Sound Art, ElektraMusic, Vibrö, Vox Novus, and JAZZIS among others and published by Editions BIM (Switzerland). He studied composition under David Loeb, David Del Tredici, David Olan, and Tim Brady and theory under Carl Schachter, Philip Rupprecht and Philip Lambert.
